Although just a week ago LVMH claimed not to be too attracted to the Metaverse and digital fashion, it is now launching its first NFTs with Kenzo.
“We are now in the real world selling real products. It’s certainly engaging, interesting and fun. But we have to see what the application of the metaverse and these NFTs will be”. So said Bernard Arnault, owner of the LVMH group, during the annual investor presentation. Now, just a few days later, he is entering the world of digital fashion with the launch of his new NFTs.
It is a series of digital assets designed by Kenzo, under the creative direction of designer Nigo. In this way, a series of limited capsule collections will be presented that will be accompanied by their corresponding NFTs. To be more specific – and although more details have not yet been revealed – the launch will be made up of 100 units of ‘The Boke Flower’. It will be made through the online channel by means of a raffle that requires the purchase of a garment from the collection.
And speaking of technology… Did you know that Meta could shut down Instagram in Europe?
