The international fashion award LVMH Prize has just announced the names of the 20 semi-finalists for the 2022 edition. Among the nominees is none other than the designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo.
The award launched in 2014 for the industry’s young promises launched by the French international holding company specialising in luxury LVMH, a company to which well-known fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Givenchy or Christian Dior belong, has just announced the names of the 20 semi-finalists of the 2022 edition of this prestigious competition.
A list that stands out, among a selection of designers and creatives from up to 13 countries, the Spanish designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo, aspiring to the prize through his brand Palomo Spain, who has been selected for the second time. Also nominated is the designer Paula Cánovas del Vas, who is participating through her eponymous brand.
“Fluidity between women’s and men’s fashion is another of the key characteristics of this edition”, Delphine Arnault, daughter of Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, and executive vice-president and product director of Louis Vuitton, did not hesitate to emphasise in a statement released by the French international holding company itself.
