In the 1980s, Reebok’s “BB” line made its debut, and now, one of the most popular shoes in the collection, BB4000 II, returns 40 years later.
In the mid-1980s, Reebok introduced the “BB” line, which consisted of some of the “most disruptive trainers” on the market. And now, four decades later, one of the icons, the BB4000 II, is back in different colour combinations. For its next collection, entitled “Changing of the Guard”, the silhouette draws inspiration from the legacies of Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson.
The BB4000 II celebrates key moments in the careers of the two aforementioned athletes. The “White/Black/Blue” model inspired by the Orlando Magic’s signature colours takes us back to Shaq’s rookie days. In contrast, the “Grey/Navy Blue/White” and “Red/Blue/White” combinations are inspired by Iverson’s time with Philadelphia.
The new “Changing of the Guard” collection will be available on the official Reebok website and at selected retailers from 22 December.
