COMME des GARÇONS (CDG) is back for Autumn/Winter 2023 with a collection featuring Lacoste and Asics.
CDG has unveiled its FW23 collection, combining the French brand’s traditional codes with a more contemporary vision. The launch includes everything from button-up shirts to hoodies, T-shirts, cardigans and jumpers. For the season, the brand is collaborating with Lacoste on some of the garments and with Asics for the trainers.
Lacoste presents exaggerated and dramatised versions of its iconic crocodile for the collection with CDG. Some shirts include this motif in XXL size, while others are printed entirely by the icon in a smaller size. Jumpers and cardigans feature a more minimalist version, with the crocodile motif on the left side of the chest or in the centre.
Beyond the Lacoste collaboration within the FW23 collection, this season CDG also presented a selection of pieces with unique details. The brand also teamed up with ASICS for a pair of EX89 trainers in various colourways. The collaborative shoes pay homage to the colours of the French flag, so they come in these versions: blue, red and white.
