Lacoste presents its new Olympic Heritage collection of clothing and accessories commemorating the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, within the framework of its licensing agreement with the International Olympic Committee.
This collection is the fifth to celebrate the graphic legacy of an iconic Olympic Games edition. The Barcelona range joins the Lacoste-designed Grenoble 1968, Mexico City 1968, Los Angeles 1984 and Tokyo 1964 limited editions.
Barcelona 1992 was a legendary Games. One of the most iconic editions of all the Olympic Games and a cultural benchmark of the Games in the modern era. These Olympics were the perfect combination of high-level sporting performance and pure lifestyle, watched and remembered by billions of people around the world.
They completely transformed Barcelona and placed it, indisputably, on the lists of the most popular destinations in Europe. The 1990s were iconic and inspired many cultural movements. More than a state of mind, it was a way of life.
The ‘Olympic Heritage’ collection is now available on the Lacoste website and in its physical shops in Barcelona and other cities in Brazil, China, France, Italy, Japan and Mexico, among others.
