The full Mugler x H&M lookbook is here

The Mugler x H&M lookbook has officially arrived to show us the collection’s tribute to the late Thierry Mugler.

The Mugler x H&M lookbook has officially arrived to show us a closer look at the collection’s tribute to the late Manfred Thierry Mugler. Photographed by Lengua, the lookbook features Jerry Hall, Connie Fleming, Imaan Hammam, Aweng Chuol, Eartheater, Arca, Xu Meen and many more.

The women’s collection follows the classic Mugler code of sharp silhouettes including XXL shoulders and cinched waists. The classic spiral motif also appears on oversized jeans, skinny jeans and nylon and denim jackets. Leather outwear and dresses, catsuits, leggings and cut-out bodysuits also stand out.

The men’s line features leather trousers, blazers and trench coats. Denim, meanwhile, permeates the jackets, while tailoring is layered over sheer tops that mimic the shape of a corset. In addition, the collection also includes a range of genderless accessories such as sheer gloves, bags and scarves and jewellery.

“This collection is a defining moment for the house of Mugler: an opportunity for us to celebrate our history and the pieces we are loved for today,” said Casey Cadwallader, Mugler’s creative director. “The collaboration includes many of our silhouettes, from catsuits and fitted dresses to tailoring, denim and bold jewellery and accessories.”

Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M, says: “Casey and the Mugler team have been incredibly generous in offering many of the house classics that consumers will recognise from the catwalk and the red carpet. The collection encapsulates H&M’s spirit of sharing luxury and democratising fashion. Every piece is iconic.

The Mugler x H&M collection will be available in the webshop and selected H&M shops from 11 May.

Hunter Schafer is the new face of Angel Elixir by Mugler.
