sacai’s long-awaited collaboration with British footwear brand Clarks Originals has arrived, with two new designs by Chitose Abe for the Clarks Wallabee Spring/Summer 2023.
The first design features the original upper made of black leather and brown suede, with waxed laces and the hanging labels of both brands, while the focus is on the bottom part. The Vibram “supersole” with foam protectors and large sliced bottoms supports the shoe. On the other hand, the second design is simpler and more understated, with subtle midsoles and angular finishes.
The sacai x Clarks Originals Wallabee collection is a Japan-exclusive release, and is available now at sacai for $570.
