Wales Bonner has teamed up with adidas to design the ultimate summer uniform inspired by Jamaica. The SS23 collection titled “Land of Wood and Water” features colors reminiscent of the Caribbean island in vintage street style silhouettes.
The collection features a knit vest and turtleneck sweater with retro-style geometric prints, a sleeveless teal nylon tracksuit designed for warm weather, an anorak and shorts set with silver sparkles, and iconic Caribbean pieces like the Harrington jacket and flared pants in true adidas style.
On the footwear front, adidas Originals officially unveils the much-anticipated Wales Bonner Samba and SL72 Knit for sneakerheads. The Samba arrives in a nubuck version with leather stripes and a more casual version with a silver leather upper with crochet stripes. The SL72 pays homage to Jamaica with a knit upper in shades of green or brown and orange.
adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Spring/Summer 2023 “Land of Wood and Water” will be available starting today, June 9, through Confirmed, the adidas website and select retailers.
