After three and a half years, Daniel W Fletcher is stepping down as Fiorucci’s menswear artistic director this month.
Daniel W Fletcher was appointed creative director of the brand in 2020 with a mission to reset its aesthetic, taking it to its sexiest side by delving into Fiorucci’s rich archives and the history of rave culture.
“I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together during my time here and have had a lot of fun along the way. It has been an honor to contribute to this brand that has such a rich history, and I wish Fiorucci all the best for the future,” Fletcher shared in a statement.
It seems that the split between the designer and the brand has been “mutual and amicable,” and as for Fletcher’s future, expect to see a lot more of his namesake brand from now on.
Fletcher’s replacement has yet to be announced, but stay tuned to Highxtar for any updates on the matter.
In other news, MSCHF is once again subverting fashion with its microscopic Louis Vuitton bag.
