We teamed up with Vans to launch an editorial celebrating the revival of the classic through the Knu Skool silhouette.
If there’s one thing that characterises summer, it’s the power of healing and renewal. Vans echoes this idea and welcomes the Knu Skool model, an update of the classic Old Skool silhouette inspired by the skate shoes of the 90s. If the Vans Old Skool was already a must-have that had conquered the hearts of several generations of cool kids since its birth 40 years ago, wait until you see this 2.0 version, which we’ve elevated through an editorial inspired by its origins.
This update, which travels back in time and works in the present, recaptures the codes of the typical low top skate shoes of the 90s characterised by extra padding. The attractive design consists of a puffed tongue and ankle, as well as a durable suede upper, signature rubber waffle sole and heel pull tabs. In keeping with the “Off The Wall” aesthetic, the Vans Sidestripe™ is reinvented as a 3D quilted diamond mould.
