During Paris Fashion Week in February, Colm Dillane, the founder of KidSuper, presented his Fall/Winter 2023 collection under the title “Funny Business.” The show took place at the Casino de Paris and was hosted by Tyra Banks. The show featured the designer’s comedic friends including Jeff Ross, Yvonne Orji, Stavros Halkias, FARY and Andrew Schultz.
Following this event, Dillane has just launched the collection to the general public.
The jackets are adorned with illustrations of Dillane’s face, created by boldly combining exquisite fabrics. In turn, the pants, in coordinating shades, feature similar illustrations on their sides. The denim jackets, paired with matching pants, feature graphics that extend throughout the garment, while the knitted pieces boast KidSuper’s distinctive KidSuper hallmark, with homages to the brand’s Casino de Paris runway show.
Button-down shirts feature watercolors that span their entire structure, and a pair of jeans showcases an embroidery of the building of KidSuper’s first store. The collection also encompasses a variety of T-shirts, some featuring the brand’s “Kissing Bags” logo, others evoking the comic essence of the collection, and some depicting the “KidSuper Museum.” Knitted hats feature the brand’s distinctive running pattern, and bright scarves complete the collection.
The first batch of this line is already available at KidSuper’s online store.
Meanwhile, Alexander McQueen’s FW23 campaign is star-studded.
