Raphael Pavarotti photographs Balmain’s elegant FW23 campaign

Balmain has unveiled its brilliant Fall/Winter 2023 campaign, perfectly capturing the essence of the collection.

Last March, Rousteing presented the collection on the runway in Paris, and now he has taken inspiration from his own runway show for this campaign. “By limiting the number of guests, we have allowed each guest to better appreciate, up close, how the stunning craftsmanship of our atelier has made possible the collection’s surprising, fresh and modern twists on our founder’s iconic silhouettes and this house’s most cherished codes,” shared the designer.

Renowned photographer Rafael Pavarotti combines structural cuts and lines that exude sensuality in the editorial, focusing attention on the details of the luxurious materials and masterfully working with light and color. He says that developing the campaign concept was “a deeply creative experience,” adding, “By highlighting Balmain’s heritage, we were able to create something different, beautiful and timeless. I couldn’t be happier with the results.”
