“Transparencies everywhere”. That seems to have been the motto that has inspired Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta this season.
One of the must-see events on the New York Fashion Week calendar is, without a doubt, the Eckhaus Latta show. Always held in key locations in the Big Apple, the shows never leave anyone indifferent and this year it was held at Rockefeller Center itself. The marble floor of the foyer was witness to the new proposal of the creative couple who, for the SS24 season, have bet everything on transparencies.
Leather jacket and trouser ensembles, lace dresses, metallic skirts, denim total looks and shirts with ruffled details were unveiled by some well-known faces such as Paloma Elesser, Jacob Bixenman and Hari Nef. All this on an elegant colour palette dominated by earth tones, maroon, baby blue and, in the most daring cases, green.
