Noki once again subverted London Fashion Week with a collaborative show by stylist Kim Howells, hairdressing expert Nick Irwin and textile artist Noki Custom NHSt; forming an artistic and sustainable movement that delves deep into the world of NESTT, enveloped by the audio expertise of Tin Can Crew and the scratchers of Super Scratch Sunday.
This collective, which designed the open source proposal for the spring-summer 2024 season, created an innovative show based on a collection full of fun and volumes that seemed to evoke, once again, a sort of rave-themed party founded on eclecticism: from lime green skeleton sweaters to veils that could pass for curtains.
Kim Howells coordinates Noki NESTT’s designs on community ‘street muses’ for the 2024 runway, which coexist with each of the elements of all the artists bringing that unique creative process that student Noki NESTT will academically embrace by custom replicating blueprints to drive the evolution of sustainable expression for the future of this 21st century style.
‘Found **** crushed by the process of constant heavy traffic on the road, **** for & packages have been collected from various bulging kitchen drawers and graffiti with Noki checkerboards to emulate the glitch of digital clutter on social media combined with the infamous Noki custom branding style mash up giving a nod to armor security and custom protection,’ the parade notes read.
