Inspired by the iconic Game Boy, the Analogue Pocket was initially launched in 2020 and has experienced high demand due to its limited runs in recent years.
The company is preparing for the launch of the Analogue Pocket Transparent Edition, which pays homage to the transparent Game Boy models that Nintendo launched in the 1980s. This console will be available in a completely transparent version, as well as in gray, red, blue, orange, green and purple tinted variants.
Like its predecessors, the Analogue Pocket Transparent Edition is capable of using Game Boy and Game Boy Advance cartridges, as well as being compatible with any accessories designed for the original Game Boy. The Pocket’s battery offers an impressive 10 hours of play time on a single charge. It also features its own speaker system, USB-C charging port and 3.5mm audio port.
The Analogue Pocket Transparent Edition is priced at $250 USD, which is a $30 increase over the original model, which has been out of stock for some time. Analogue is scheduled to make these transparent consoles available for sale on its website on Friday, September 29 at 8 a.m. PDT/11 a.m. EDT.
