Okuda San Miguel x Vilebrequin: a fusion of art and fashion

Vilebrequin’s new 14-piece capsule with artist Okuda San Miguel takes pop surrealism from the street to the beach. And vice versa.

Okuda San Miguel’s works are full of geometric harmonies and intense colours, have adorned the walls of galleries and public spaces around the world and seem to come from a parallel universe. Okuda is characterised by kaleidoscopic designs that break down the barriers of modernity, the animal world and shapes. Like Vilebrequin in their designs, they seek to encourage fantasy and freedom. That is why they have not hesitated to team up for an iconic collection.

Using exclusively recycled and organic materials, Okuda San Miguel’s works come in the form of Moorise stretch swimming costumes, T-shirts, linen bowling shirts and beach accessories, and include Okuda’s personalised “kaleidoscope” packaging. The artist’s use of colour, geometric structures and surreal compositions are embodied in the 14 pieces made from two different designs created by Okuda: Okuda’s Turtles and Okuda’s Animals.

The collection will be available in shops and on the Vilebrequin website from 25 October.
