Founded by Camella Ehlke in 1989 on the Lower East Side, Triple 5 Soul became known for its unconventional styles, attracting influential artists such as Mos Def, De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest. The brand became a benchmark for the New York creative scene of the 1990s, capturing the energy of hip-hop, b-boys and skateboarding.
The collaboration combines the contemporary vision of PLEASURES with the heritage and legacy of New York streetwear. Highlighting the Triple Modular Jacket, which transforms into a backpack, hooded vest and detachable sleeves, the collection features 10 styles.
Alex James, co-founder of PLEASURES, said, “From the crazy backpack saddle to the details of the technical jackets, TRIPLE 5 was tweaked from the ground up. It’s a real honor to collaborate with such an iconic brand.”
The range includes garments such as the 555 Applique zip-up hoodie, 53X Inside Out hoodie and sweatpants, Biz Card T-shirt and cap, Soul Snapback hoodie, Five 5 V T-shirt in cream and black, and Soul Nylon Active Pant.
The Triple 5 Soul by PLEASURES collection is available now on the PLEASURES and Triple 5 Soul websites, with a wider launch at global retailers coming soon.
And, speaking of fashion… Sporty craftsmanship arrives with Tokyo Design Studio and New Balance.
