Louis Vuitton is working on a sponsorship deal with young England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.
If Bellingham does eventually join the Louis Vuitton team, he would join a stellar list of superstars who have worked with the fashion house. The footballer has attended Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show and wore a full LV suit to this year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony. LV has only worked with the world’s top athletes, such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo before last year’s World Cup, following a campaign with Pele, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane in 2010.
Bellingham has yet to sign a deal other than his boot contract with adidas, although he did take part in a photo shoot for Gucci last year as part of the adidas collaboration. Bellingham is not the first English player to land a major sponsorship deal. Manchester City’s Jack Grealish signed a seven-figure deal with Gucci last year, while Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka have all appeared in Burberry campaigns in recent years.
