Dancing with the human duality of our existence, Emeric Tchatchoua explores individual dreams, weaving a narrative that oscillates between the dazzling aspiration for personal triumph and the intrinsic need for shared success. Inspired by the words of Jay-Z, “I’m like Che Guevara with bling on. I’m complex. I never planned to have wings on,” the collection becomes a proclamation, a resonant echo of the inner conflict that each individual carries.
On the side of ego, ostentation, “Surabondance,” 3.Paradis’s collection introduces a rich layering: double-waisted trousers, exposed zip fly, and oversize silhouettes. The amount of fabric worn, or appearing to be worn at a glance, is a clear reference to the fashion of the 23rd century, when the wealthy flaunted their power by showing off the amount of fabric they wore in their clothing.
The clothes, more than mere garments, become a tangible metaphor for human struggle. Expansive trousers, generous volumes and coats that hug the body like a shelter are not only expressions of fashion, but also functional manifestos of survival. A “fabric with memory” is able to hold on to the folds one creates oneself, reminding us that no matter how much success one achieves, one must always remember where one comes from. Every seam and every fold tells the story of the elemental struggle to survive, to win and to find meaning in the becoming of existence.
3. PARADIS FW24 is an exploration of the inner conflicts that sculpt humanity, pushing fashion beyond conventional boundaries. In addition, for the occasion, the French-Canadian brand has teamed up with CRAVAN 75006, a gastronomic and cultural venue recently opened by Franck Audoux at 165 Boulevard Saint-Germain, to bring to life an exclusive Varsity jacket.
