A few years ago Kim Kardashian launched SKKN after KKW Beauty came to an end, a move that for her fans was a simple change to her make-up line. However, it was more than that – rather than just another commercial make-up, SKKN offered the market a (refined and elegant) selection of high-end cosmetics, a natural and elevated step towards a more minimalist and aspirational offering.
After launching her latest collection, her eldest daughter, North West, has posted a video review on TikTok about the new products. “First the matte lipsticks and then the eyeliners,” says North as she applies her make-up while looking into the camera. “The palette… Yes,” she adds. The daughter gives the product a thumbs up and assures us that this makeup is dinner party appropriate and that a person would “wear it all the time”.
