After collaborating for the first time in Spring/Summer 2018, London designer Liam Hodges (@liam__hodges) has met with FILA for this FW18. The new capsule, first shown at the London Fashion Week parade in January, is inspired by FILA’s archives, which wisely combine nostalgia for the nineties and memories of youth.
The most outstanding piece of the collaboration is the updated version of the sneaker Disruptor II – typical of the 90s – which is made with Italian leather and has a new sawtooth sole.
The clothing is inspired by the designs of FILA’s Magic Line. A line that was launched as a collection of high-performance skiwear, but soon became associated with the Acid House movement in the UK due to its striking prints and technical fabrics.
