Arriving in unisex “Light Green/Black” and “Yellow/Multi” colourways, the reinvented Vans Ultrarange Neo VR3 features a new last shape that improves fit and contouring without altering the look, as well as a modified arch for added support. It’s not just an improved fit: if you look closely at the midsole, you’ll notice that the moulded embellishments are an abstract iteration of Vans’ famous checkerboard pattern.
The Ultrarange Neo VR3 is composed of regenerative, sustainably sourced, renewable and/or recycled materials: the lightweight, breathable upper is made from 100% recycled PET, the midsole is made from at least 50% bio-sourced EVA foam, and the outsole, which offers a progressive iteration of Vans’ classic waffle traction, features at least 60% regeneratively grown natural rubber.
The redesigned Vans Ultrarange Neo VR3 is paired with a selection of apparel. The highlight of the collection is the reversible Rosewood waistcoat, plus a double-knit turtleneck and shorts set. The launch also includes a pair of climbing shorts, a camp cap, a short-sleeved knitted T-shirt and a cotton tank top. Each of the garments in a colour palette that matches the footwear.
