Prada, one of the most eagerly awaited proposals, presented its collection at the Milano Fashion week.
For SS19, Miuccia Prada wanted to reflect the clash of moral and ethical values at the heart of modern culture. “We have the desire for freedom, liberation and fantasy and, on the other hand, extreme conservatism is coming,” she said after the show. “I wanted to try to represent the clash between these two opposites and what is happening in the world. So I tried to break the rules of the classic,” she affirmed.
In the new collection Prada bets, as usual, for satin fabrics that we could see in skirts with flounce, coats, shorts, and dresses ‘babydoll’, the sophisticated aesthetics and at the same time a little casual with pieces like the so commented sandals.

It was a fashion show in which the aesthetics of the 60’s and the college atmosphere permeated everything. The color palette was based on more sober colors such as black, navy blue or brown and other more striking as pastel pink, lime green, salmon or red.
An ode to youth, female in this case, that Miuccia turns back into REAL FASHION.
