The superstar’s third album is a follow-up to ‘Future Nostalgia’ and an ode to 90s Britpop.
After releasing ‘Houdini’, ‘Training Season’ and ‘Illusion’, three of her catchiest tracks, Dua Lipa has just unveiled her latest studio work co-produced by Danny L Harle, Kevin Parker, Andrew Wyatt and Ian Kirkpatrick. A total of almost 37 minutes long divided into 11 songs in which the British artist has wanted to capture the essence of youth, freedom and the fun of letting everything flow.
In this way, we find a tribute to the psychedelic pop and rave culture of the UK, intermingled with Lipa‘s catchy sounds and her more personal lyrics that channel her experiences.
“Radical Optimism’, as I see it, is the idea of overcoming the blows, of not letting anything get you down for too long, of always looking on the bright side of things, of being able to grow and move on and change your perspective no matter what’s going on in your life,” the singer told Apple Music during an interview.
