Apple has revealed the arrival of a new generation of iPad that promises to take the user experience to new heights. Known for its ability to constantly innovate and reinvent the way we interact with technology, Apple has not disappointed with these new additions to its iPad product line.
The new iPad Air is lighter. While it lacks an OLED display similar to the current iPad Pro, it integrates Liquid Retina XDR technology. It also features the M2 chip, the same chip used in iPad Pro models launching in 2022. This new iPad Air introduction offers a more affordable version with high-end features. Apple also introduced two new iPad Air models in two sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch. The available colours will be: Grey, Pink, Beige and Blue.
The newest iteration of the iPad Pro features OLED displays for the first time. This enhancement promises to offer users a clearer and more immersive experience when using the device. In addition, the new iPad Pro models are equipped with the M4 chipset. According to Apple, the M4 can deliver the same power as the M2 with half the power consumption.
iPad incorporates advanced features such as Mesh Shading and Ray Tracing thanks to the M4 chip. The M4 manages the ‘OLED tandem’ of the iPad’s display, while allowing the device to be remarkably thin. As for the cameras: a 12 MP prime lens, along with LiDAR and a new flash designed to make scanning documents even easier, according to Apple.
This is what the new Apple Vision Pro virtual avatars will look like.
