With the happiness and emotion of someone who is making an immense and transforming dream come true, DUKI gave an exceptional show reviewing the most emblematic songs of his musical career and demonstrating before more than 65,000 people the unsurpassable talent that grows on stage. Thanks to Mahou, the HIGHXTAR team had the pleasure of experiencing this unique moment in the history of music accompanied by ‘La Diabla’, the new beer created by DUKI that refreshed the hot concert with a unique mango and chilli flavour.
DUKI, who has grown abysmally in recent years, became the first rapper to play and sell out the mythical Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. And Madrid proved the importance of the long awaited visit of the Argentinean who is so loved by the Spanish public. Duko has always thanked his fans for everything he has: ‘I owe it all to my fans, who have always let me be who I am, I feel like the freest person in the world’.
His tour in Spain began in 2018 in the Sala But for 1,500 people, in 2019 in La Riviera for 2,500 people, 2021 in Palacio Vistalegre for 13,500 people, 2023 came with a double performance in both the Wizink Center and the Palau Sant Jordi where a total of 60,000 people saw him and 2024 crowns it in the Bernabéu filling the mythical stadium with 65,000 people.
DUKI’s relationship with Spain has always been very special. The union of the two cultures has always been easy between Spaniards and Argentinians: because of the language, the customs and the music. For this reason, DUKI goes one step further and reaches out to the Spanish public through a collaboration with one of the country’s most iconic beers: Mahou, with whom he has worked to create a beer in the singer’s style, from its packaging to its intense and unique flavour.
The euphoria of thousands of fans who waited months for this unique night and camped out for days served DUKI to start the show in style with a full band and continue with the same intensity for more than two hours and more than 40 songs. Likewise, DUKI and Mahou exclusively distributed ‘La Diabla’, their new beer, among the fans who were trying it, both in the queue and inside the stadium. Nobody wanted to be without theirs.
After starting with Rockstar, they followed with Tumbando el Club and Otro Level, and then welcomed Rei the first guest, together they performed Pininfarina Remix, and if the beginning wasn’t explosive enough, YSY A joined in for Pintao, the extensive set list continued with Piensa en Mi, Hablamos Mañana, Me Enseñaste, and a new moment happened with Emilia to perform Como Si No Importara.
DUKI also performed Top 5, Si Quieren Frontear, and Ya Me Fui with Nicki Nicole. Other surprises were the presence of Lucho SSJ in 01 de Enero and West Dubai in Contra de mi, Jhayco appeared for Rockstar 2.0 and in the middle of the show C.R.O in Hijos de la Noche and Harakiri, and Dano for Santo Grial. The hits Hello Cotto, Goteo, Además de mi, Si me sobrara el tiempo, Si te sentís sola and Sin frenos were not missing either.
This DUKI concert marks an epoch, as it was the first show at the Nuevo Bernabéu for an urban artist. The Argentinian superstar was accompanied by some of the biggest names in music who couldn’t miss this milestone in his career. In this way, an unmissable moment of the show was commemorated with Modo Diablo in front of songs like Quavo and Trap n Xport with YSY A and Neo Pistea.
In an epic finale came Bizarrap with a reversal of Malbec and the BZRP Music Sessions ‘Un aplauso para el Duko, gracias a él estamos todos acá’, as a prelude to Givenchy, and the effusive farewell with She Don’t Give a Fo with a packed Bernabéu singing along. Presenting songs from ‘Antes de Améri’, his latest and most successful album, the urban leader put on a memorable show.
DUKI undoubtedly made it clear, after more than two hours of concert, that he is a reference in urban music, as well as a reference for all those people who care for their loved ones above anything else. A feeling that was undoubtedly felt throughout the stadium and which was celebrated with ‘La Diabla’ in hand thanks to Mahou.
