The first creative collaboration between Camper and SUNNEI presents the FORONE, a unique shoe concept that reinvents the way footwear is conceived. Sold as a single 100% symmetrical shoe, with no left and no right, the FORONE can be worn on either foot. There are 5 colour combinations so that the wearer can personalise their pair, either homogeneously or by combining colours on each foot.
“Due piedi in una scarpa” (Two feet in one shoe) is an Italian saying that served as the starting point for the FORONE campaign. The images embody this expression while reinforcing the concept of one shoe. Photographed by up-and-coming talent Tarek Cassim, the images embody the ironic spirit of Camper and SUNNEI.
The story behind FORONE
The journey began at Camper’s headquarters in Mallorca, Spain, where the SUNNEI creative team delved into the Camper archives. TRINS is a concept from Camper’s 1996 spring/summer collection that was sold as a pack of three different coloured shoes that fit both the left and right foot. The 3 TRINS could be mixed and matched to create 6 colour combinations.
27 years later, this concept has evolved into FORONE, a revamped Camper x SUNNEI concept with new design elements. Designed for maximum durability, the FORONE features a vulcanised rubber outsole securely stitched 360° to a breathable 100% recycled cotton upper. The memory foam footbed offers superior comfort and intelligently remembers the anatomy of the foot, right or left. Or both.
CAMPERLAB expands its collection with the introduction of a new line of footwear called CARAMBA.
