As of July 1, the first-generation AirPods, first-generation HomePod and iPhone X have been officially classified as “vintage” Apple products.
As reported by MacRumors, the tech giant has added the products to its vintage list since Apple had stopped distributing them more than five and less than seven years ago. Repairs will continue to be provided by official Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers for two more years – marking the seventh year since they were last distributed for sale – and then they will be classified as “obsolete” products with zero support.
All three products were launched between December 2016 and February 2018. More news about Apple at the following link.
