Luisaviaroma, the Florence-based multi-tasking luxury retailer, has opened its first flagship shop in the United States. Located on Bond Street in midtown Manhattan, the new flagship is situated between the busy streets of Broadway and Lafayette. The opening of this New York space marks the retailer’s first physical shop outside of its home country of Florence. The shop will house the collections of brands such as Chloé, Maison Margiela, Jil Sander and Lanvin, as well as those of famous New York designers such as Gabriela Hearst, Proenza Schouler and Helmut Lang.
‘We are delighted to open the first LuisaViaRoma shop in the United States at 1 Bond Street in New York City,’ said CEO Tomasso Andorlini, ’This exclusive multi-brand shop is designed for our global clientele who desire a high-end in-store shopping experience. While our digital platform continues to offer an excellent 24-hour service, the New York flagship shop caters to the city’s trendsetters with exclusive products and unique personal experiences’.
Colectivo Vestiaire and Luisaviaroma continue to advance their commitment to circular fashion by expanding their current partnership. In fact, at the New York shop it will be possible to purchase a selection of certified vintage pieces and you will be able to drop off your luxury items in exchange for a Luisaviaroma credit. In addition, the shop will also have a floor reserved for VIP customers, who will be able to enjoy access to special product catalogues, exclusive benefits and concierge services.
The official launch will take place on 4 September, the eve of New York Fashion Week.
