Merit launches new product made from food waste

With names like Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, Emma Stone, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and Hilary Duff endorsing Merit, it’s no surprise that more than 5,000 people are on the waiting list for its latest launch. On August 22, the cult brand will reveal the “Great Skin Moisturizer,” a moisturizer with a clinically proven formula and a patented complex that addresses multiple skin concerns.

This new product follows the success of the Great Skin Instant Glow Serum, which has sold out every two minutes since its debut. The moisturizer combines peptides, spermidine and polysaccharides to brighten, tone and deeply hydrate the skin, creating the ideal base for Merit’s signature makeup.

The real star is the Great Skin Complex, an innovation designed by Merit to offer immediate and long-lasting benefits in terms of hydration and strengthening of the skin barrier. The key? A sustainable by-product of Arctic microalgae grown in Iceland, originally destined for the food industry, now turned into a premium skincare active.

“Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin,” comments renowned aesthetician Biba de Sousa, spokesperson for Merit. “Dehydrated skin accelerates the appearance of fine lines, irritation and uneven texture. The new ‘Great Skin Moisturizer’ is perfect for locking in moisture and preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL), while acting as an ideal primer for makeup.” Enriched with hyaluronic acid and oat extract, this formula offers long-term hydration.

The Great Skin Moisturizer will be available on Merit‘s website from August 22, and promises to be another big hit for the brand.

These are the new fragrances from Cries Van Noten Beauty.
