This iconic programme of late-night events has become a landmark in London’s cultural scene. Since its launch in 2016, Tate Lates has fused art, music and creativity with a fresh and accessible approach, attracting names such as the BBZ London collective and Canadian artist Megan Rooney in previous editions, as well as unforgettable sets from DJs such as Floating Points and Nabihah Iqbal.

Jessye Bloomfield, creative producer at Tate Lates, told Artnet: ‘Since its inception, Tate Modern Lates has been a mainstay of artistic nightlife in the city. Little Simz is curating an impressive selection that highlights London’s creative talent, with artists and collectives that have inspired her throughout her career.’

Simz will take over Tate Modern on Saturday 31 August from 6pm to 10pm, rolling out a series of immersive workshops including a literary session with Caroline Adeyemi in the Blavatnik building, classes led by Fiona Quadri and specialist Ayanna Birch, and a dance class by Simz’s choreographer Kloé Dean.

Las entradas son gratuitas, pero se requiere registro previo para asegurar el acceso. Esta edición de Tate Lates promete ser una celebración vibrante del talento local y un reflejo de la energía creativa que impulsa a Londres.

Little Simz shines in MIU MIU’s FW24 campaign.
