The Neverfull Inside Out bag gives a twist to this much-loved Louis Vuitton design. Completely reversible, it can be turned inside out, so that what was the outside becomes the inside and vice versa. In its maxi version, this bag is dyed with the Flight Mode line’s signature motifs, and in its large size it is available with a lining in three different colours. Both this and the medium size are made of soft calfskin in elegant neutral tones. The classic Neverfull is also available in Louis Vuitton’s patented Epi leather. All of them are infinitely versatile and ideal for everyday use, both on and off site.
The collection offers new versions with a nod to the season, such as the Noé bag, which with its cube shape is a guaranteed hit, or the iconic Twist in the Fauve shade (reddish brown), also in Epi leather. The Monogram-printed canvas Speedy takes on a predominant role in three sophisticated models: the darkest, with black calfskin trim and a gothic-style silver chain; the classic, with a golden chain, colourful lining, refined ostrich leather trim and themed pendants; and the most handcrafted, with a natural pearl chain and a special case for the address.
In addition, there are several key rings with the Monogram Mahina, with a greyish background and a gradient from blue to white, reminiscent of the changing colour of the sky. The ready-to-wear collection features both outdoor and indoor clothing. Like Neverfull Inside Out, the coats are also reversible; in wool and silk. The twist comes with a cast of pieces that bring back the tonal Mahina print, while quilted waistcoats are filled with a colourful vibrancy with the stamp print covering the entire garment, as well as flowing silk skirts and other lightweight garments.
The loose, casual patterns harmonise perfectly, including the grey denim set with Monogram print, the flannel and velvet jumper and cardigan sets with colour-block detailing and the flannel sets that are as sporty as they are feminine. Because layering is necessary for travel, the Flight Mode collection also features embossed Monogram, mohair and cashmere knit sets and sumptuous tassel to make any outfit comfortable, relaxed and stylish.
Footwear in the Flight Mode collection ranges from models suitable for low-impact activities to those for more intense pursuits, and shoes are given character with eye-catching details. For example, the LV Rush is a technical shoe with a graphic wave print on the upper and elasticated laces that make them easy to slip on.
In a vibrant eighties vein, the LV Stadium is made from two-tone leather and juxtaposes a small Monogram with alternating green, pink or blue and white. The Louis Vuitton Paris has a curved, lightweight sole. The accessories play with the Maison’s codes and ensure warmth. For the transition from autumn to winter, we find a distinguished corduroy cap, an LV Fluffy bucket hat and even sporty socks to finish off the look.
This is Louis Vuitton’s first permanent tableware collection.
