NOAH has unveiled a folding stool that redefines sustainability by using recycled materials. In a tribute to the use of discarded resources, the brand collaborated with Japanese craftsmen to bring this piece to life.
The legs of the stool are constructed from recycled wooden hangers, fusing layers of North American white ash, black walnut and Japanese zelkova. Each piece is treated with a transparent coating that enhances its beauty and is assembled with brass hardware, adding a touch of sophistication. The seat, upholstered in premium leather, is engraved with the distinctive NOAH logo.
Estelle Bailey-Babenzien, co-founder of NOAH, shares: ‘Over the years, I have designed numerous pieces of furniture, but the stool has always been the essential and most versatile piece. The folding stool is a timeless classic, perfect for any space’.
‘This design strikes the perfect balance between luxury and functionality. A well thought-out piece of furniture adds an extra dimension to our daily routines, turning every interaction into a special moment’.
NOAH‘s folding stool is available at its online shop and at the brand’s flagship store in New York.
