Dior and KAWS meet again five years later

In a limited edition capsule collection imagined by the artist and Kim Jones.

The two creatives first met in 2019, when the acclaimed Jersey City-born artist created a 33m-high sculpture for Dior‘s SS19 runway show and, months later, they decided to launch a joint collection reinterpreting the French fashion house’s renowned Bee motif. Now, they have teamed up again for a series of vibrant menswear pieces where colour and kaleidoscopic illustrations take over the designs.

Varsity jackets in pastel pink with playful snake logos, mohair cardigans in red with the Dior Oblique emblem, quilted coats, button-down shirts and sporty outfits.

‘I wanted something fun and pop,’ explains Kim Jones. ‘KAWS is amazing as a person and as an artist. He’s someone I really look up to,’ he adds.

The exclusive collection will arrive on the official Dior website and in selected physical boutiques on 2 January.
