Euphoria isn’t going away, and the drama, chaos and high emotions are coming back stronger than ever in 2025.

Euphoria is not cancelled: filming of third season starts in 2025

Casey Bloys, has arrived to quell rumours and put an end to speculation about Euphoria’s cancellation. The HBO/Max boss confirmed that the series is still as alive as ever and that season 3 will begin filming in mid-January 2025. ‘We are filming Euphoria,’ Bloys said. ‘The start date is between January and February, everything is still on track. Someone said something on the internet and all hell broke loose. But nothing has changed, we’re moving forward, I’ve read the scripts and we’re excited. Everything is still the same, all the cast is confirmed.’

With Zendaya about to start filming for Christopher Nolan’s new movie and Jacob Elordi filming Wuthering Heights under the direction of Emerald Fennell in the UK, concerns about the show’s continuity were legitimate. However, Bloys assures that all the actors are returning, and that production is underway: ‘It’s eight episodes, and all the cast members are committed to the project,’ he added.

In addition to Zendaya and Elordi, other key actors such as Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie and Eric Dane will also return to the main cast for this new season. ‘I know, Euphoria is making movie stars now, and everyone is busy with other projects, but we’re filming the new season. Nothing has changed, we’re moving on,’ he said. So, relax, guys. Euphoria isn’t going away, and the drama, mayhem, and raw emotion are coming back stronger than ever in 2025.

The future of Cassie’s character promises an intense twist in Season 3 after the shocking end of ‘Euphoria’ Season 2.
