Pleasing x JW Anderson: A collaboration that is as surprising as it is necessary

Inspired by the iconic Patchwork Cardigan that went viral with Harry Styles, the collection reinvents the classic in the Bunch of Balloons Knit Cardigan, a piece that exudes joy and freshness. Balloons become the common thread of the line, standing out as a playful nod to key details, such as the ‘i’ in the Pleasing logo, which now adorns a playful new sweatshirt.

But the magic doesn’t stop at clothes. JW Anderson delves into the world of beauty with co-branded metallic nail polishes, taking his signature imagery into new territory. Complementing the offering, the British designer’s iconic Bumper bags and key rings are presented in updated versions that pay homage to the vibrant spirit of the brand founded by Styles.

‘JW Anderson is a brand that we feel very identified with in terms of point of view, creativity and energy, and it’s a brand we’ve wanted to collaborate with for a long time. As a stylist, I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with Jonathan over the years and of course our founder, Harry, who is a great follower and user of Jonathan’s work. The design process was inspiring and creative, as well as thoughtful, from the conception of each product through to the packaging and visual assets. We are thrilled to launch a colourful, joyful and exciting collection of products and hope it brings as much joy to our two communities to wear as it did to us to create,’ says Harry Lambert, creative director of Pleasing.
