On the occasion of the Year of the Snake, MM6 Maison Margiela is launching a graphic capsule that fuses tradition and modernity, just before the arrival of the new lunar cycle. A tribute to Chinese symbolism, which fits perfectly with the brand’s identity: the Maison’s number 6, which coincides with the snake in the oriental zodiac.
In its characteristic minimalist style, MM6 presents a collection that plays with geometry and symbols, highlighting a numerical graphic of the number 6 on the figure of a red snake. This design is boldly printed on a selection of unisex garments, including both short and long-sleeved T-shirts, all with large graphics on the front. Regular fit, cropped zip-up sweatshirts complete the offering, keeping the aesthetic clean and powerful, with black artwork on a dark jersey background. The collection is extended with black tracksuit bottoms, which integrate the same miniaturised graphic just below the waist for total visual consistency.
The accessories offering also reflects the spirit of the season, with the iconic MM6 triangular bag available in various sizes in black leather. The mini bag, the smallest in the series, includes a practical cross-body strap. To complete the offer, a line of silver-finished brass jewellery includes mini hoop earrings, a bracelet, a ring and a necklace with charms, all engraved with the iconic MM6 branding in red.
