Mallorca Live Festival will once again transform the island into the epicenter of global music from June 12 to 14, 2025. The festival has just released a preview of the lineup that will mix some of the most prominent figures of the international scene, along with emerging artists fused with cutting-edge Balearic talent.
Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Bad Gyal and Suede will be at the top of its program, which will bring together eclectic genres ranging from trip-hop, punk or Britpop, to trap, rap or contemporary pop with icons such as Bad Gyal, Nathy Peluso or Villano Antillano.
The festival will once again transcend the musical dimension to connect with the Mallorcan cultural tradition. And it will do so with a graphic campaign in which it will pay tribute to the ‘caparrots’, the giant figures of characters characteristic of the island’s festivities. In this cultural metaphor, the artists who step on the stage of the festival will be the real “caparrots” of the festival.
Massive Attack, Iggy Pop and Suede: icons defining music history
Massive Attack’s show will be one of the key moments of the 2025 edition. The trip-hop pioneers will once again fuse the power of their hypnotic lyrics and sounds with their revolutionary visuals that have been making an impact around the world for more than three decades. On their only date in Spain in 2025, they will offer an experience that, according to the band, will lead the audience to reflect on the “broken dream of the confident and empowered individual ‘I’”.
For his part, punk legend Iggy Pop who changed everything with The Stooges will bring his energy and iconocity to the stage, alongside other Britpop standouts such as Suede, the band to which a decade of reinvention has been added after their 2011 comeback.
Latin avant-garde: Nathy Peluso and Villano Antillano
Nathy Peluso will make her island debut with ‘GRASA’ starring in one of her electric shows; while queer star Villano Antillano continues to rap his message of cultural pride.
As for the national scene, talent will be represented by pop star Bad Gyal, who will present her album La Joia, along with artists such as Judeline, Natalia Lacunza, María Escarmiento or Ralphie Choo, among many others.
Balearic talent and electronics
Mallorca Live Festival will continue to celebrate local music. After the participation of Rels B in the 2024 edition, this time it is the turn of Antònia Font, who after their return in 2022, continue to celebrate their legacy with new sounds. And if we talk about multifaceted artists, Maika Makovski will be another of the great protagonists, with her latest work, ‘Bunker Rococó’.
Electronic music will once again become one of the mainstays of the festival on the La Plaza stage with a selection of international DJs and producers who will mix house, techno, afro tech and psychedelia. Among the confirmed names are Carlita, Chloé Caillet, Tsha, Aqutie and many more. The local touch will be provided by Discontrol and Enric Ricone B2B Un Southnormal.
