Belloni, in his ‘What I’m Hearing’ newsletter, details that Bieber has begun restructuring his team, including hiring new legal representation, indicating that the Canadian is taking serious steps to get his music career back on track.
The motive behind this return appears to be linked to a number of reasons, including his debt to events giant AEG, which accrued after Bieber cancelled his 2022 tour to prioritise his health. ‘I’ve been told Bieber needs the money and is ready to get back to work,’ Belloni says. This is in addition to other expenses common to the pop star lifestyle, reinforcing the idea that the singer is seeking financial stability after a difficult period.
After years of focusing on his personal life and health – especially after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome type 2, which caused facial paralysis – Bieber has kept a low profile, devoting his time to his family and recovery. His last full-length album, Justice, was released in 2021, although his name has remained relevant thanks to collaborations with artists such as Don Toliver and SZA in 2023, as well as some live appearances.
