In its first year, the space has managed to revolutionise the cultural scene with more than 25,000 visitors.

With a total of 100 events held, many of them in collaboration with more than 40 brands, institutions and entities, the CUPRA City Garage Madrid has established itself as one of the most vibrant and multifaceted points of reference in the capital. Urban culture, art, design, music and mobility have been its main axes, consolidating itself as a disruptive space that connects the different tribes of Madrid.

Since its opening on 21 February 2024, it has not only been a centre for automotive innovation, but also a cultural epicentre. The space has hosted activities ranging from concerts and art exhibitions to design talks and product launches in which electric mobility is the protagonist.

In music, it has become a stage for artists who set the rules. Los Javis echoed the launch of La Mesías, while Aron Piper celebrated his debut album. Electronic music also had its place with the presence of the incomparable Arca, who headed the line up during the inauguration of the space; and La Zowi, who gave a music session full of attitude and style to present her latest work.

In addition to the music, the CUPRA City Garage Madrid has been the stage for talks, presentations and art and design exhibitions that have given prominence to great talents such as TVBOY, Gema Polanco and Ana María Caballero; as well as the SMTH digital art competition. Fashion lovers have also had their space, with meetings with designers of the stature of Moisés Nieto, Jaime Álvarez (Mans) and Pablo Erroz, who shared their visions and most recent collections.

On the sporting side, it has become a key venue for padel fans, with meetings and talks by brand ambassadors such as Ale Galán, Delfi Brea and Ari Sánchez. Masterclasses were also held, such as the one by Ffitcoco, which unified sport, wellness and lifestyle.

In addition to its own events, the Garage has forged ties with more than 40 companies, institutions and organisations, such as Serielizados, Bresh, Penguin Random House and Sernauto, to create a truly diverse cultural agenda that has resonated with different sectors of society.

As expected, it was also the space chosen to present some of the brand’s most innovative models, such as the new CUPRA Formentor and the CUPRA Leon, designed to create emotions on the edge of their seats. In addition, during the 37th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup, the CUPRA Terramar was presented, an electrified SUV that redefines mobility for a new era.

2024 has been a year full of conferences and round tables on mobility, with the presentation of reports such as the Auto Mobility Trends 2024 Barometer, which analyses trends in the automotive sector and its challenges towards electrification.

And to celebrate a successful year, the CUPRA City Garage will be celebrating its first anniversary in style during the month of February. The agenda will include special events linked to the brand’s key territories, such as music, art, design, sport and, of course, electric mobility. The highlight will be CUPRA Night, an epic party to celebrate with the Tribe, reflecting the community that has supported and accompanied the Garage since its opening.
