Yoon Ahn has chosen Rizzoli Publishing to present this visual and narrative treasure.
Since its creation in Tokyo back in 2008, AMBUSH has managed to redefine the concept of experimental jewelry and establish itself as one of the most iconic brands in the industry. Its mix of influences that draw directly from pop culture, art and streetwear, as well as its focus on bold and futuristic designs, give it an unprecedented appeal, reaching to collaborate with giants such as Louis Vuitton, Nike or Converse.
Now, his entire history has materialized in his first book, offering a unique journey through his archive, accompanied by contributions from key figures such as Pharrell, Kim Jones, Kid Cudi or Jun Takashi, among many others.
The publication has been designed to be much more than a simple monograph, including an unpublished interview with its founders, Yoon Ahn and VERBAL, who invite the reader to discover the story behind each piece, each collaboration and each concept.
And of course, the book’s design maintains the brand’s disruptive essence: its hard cover, made of perforated canvas, features the brand’s logo on a large scale, while the added holes reveal images of iconic campaigns and products.
The book will be available from March 4, but can already be pre-ordered through Rizzoli.
