Nintendo redefines portable gaming with its new 2-in-1 console.
The wait is over: the Nintendo Switch 2 is now a reality. The successor to one of the most successful consoles of all time is coming soon and, as expected, it brings surprising new features and improvements that will consolidate Nintendo‘s winning formula. After the resounding success of the original Switch, the new one dares to go one step further with tweaks that aim to make it even more versatile and adapted to the demands of today’s market.
The design features subtle but important changes that have been previously leaked. The Joy-Con are larger this time around, offering greater comfort and a new way to connect. The screen, meanwhile, increases in size by about an inch, promising a more immersive viewing experience without sacrificing portability.
As for the stand, Nintendo has opted for a solution similar to that of the OLED Switch, with a full dock that offers greater stability when the console is resting on it. The new dock surprises with a more rounded and refined design, following the aesthetics of the OLED model.
Another aspect to highlight is the software. This new version will maintain compatibility with both digital and physical games, using the same cards. However, it has been confirmed that there may be some exceptions.
The full unveiling of the Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for 2 April, when all the details will be finalised.
And speaking of technology… Did you know that Lamine Yamal has signed up with OPPO?
