Sinna presents UNKNOWN LOVE, his debut album that not only challenges the limits of music, but also proposes a new vision of love, evolution and the existential void that precedes the unknown. A work where sound experimentation meets philosophy, art and spirituality, building a sensorial experience that invites to transcend. For Sinna, music is a cosmic language, a bridge to the unexplored, a refuge of consciousness and freedom. As he himself states: ‘Music is my shelter, it took care of me when I needed it most’. It’s in this space where UNKNOWN LOVE is born: an ode to vulnerability, to surrender without guarantees, to jump into the void with the only impulse of genuine love.
Over the years, Sinna has witnessed his own musical evolution: from his beginnings as a producer, composer and singer within rap, to a foray into more experimental sounds that fuse the essence of EDM, Afro and Ambient. With each project, his discourse has broadened, deepening the idea of music as a form of living energy, a vehicle for emotional and spiritual transformation. But UNKNOWN LOVE is not just an album. It is a work that arises from the need to explore the innermost territories of the human being, from the concern to understand the relationship between Love and the Unknown, those two elements that, in their union, generate a unique and irreplicable vibration.
The concept of UNKNOWN LOVE is materialised in a sensorial experience that goes beyond the music itself. It is an auditory, visual and emotional process that is sealed with the creative direction of Sinna and Violeta Dai, who have managed to transmit in each chord and each image the magic of the instant before the jump, that fragile frontier between what is known and what is yet to be. The first and last songs of the album, performed live at the Sala Réplika Teatro on 31 January, marked the beginning and the end of a journey between the abstract and the tangible, between the soul and the cosmos. The scenography, an almost intimate and enveloping staging, wove a dreamlike atmosphere that invited one to lose oneself in the sounds, images and collective vibration of an audience that, like the artist, was ready to cross the threshold of the unknown.
The sound of UNKNOWN LOVE is an amalgam of deep frequencies, where electronic textures intertwine with the soul of afro and the warmth of ambient. With Sinna and Kenzie, a producer specialising in vibrational music, at the helm of the sound direction, the album becomes a sonic journey full of layers and nuances that accompany the visual narrative created by the artist and visuals director Milo Hammid. But what is truly transcendental about the album is the joining of forces that Sinna has summoned: collaborations with artists such as Wamu, Hll6oy, Yeyor, Kyne, Wekaforé and Angie Beer, who bring their unique stamp to each track, and the participation of Aina Guirao, whose operatic voice infuses a dose of mysticism and depth into the work.
This album is, in its essence, a metaphor for personal and collective evolution. An act of rebellion against established norms, a declaration of emotional independence, where love and consciousness intertwine in a dance towards a new paradigm. Sinna and her collective, SINS Art Company, live by a clear mantra: ‘We are what people don’t expect of us’. And it is precisely in this space of unusual creative freedom that UNKNOWN LOVE is born, a work that not only redefines their own sound, but also establishes a new language within the contemporary music scene.
