Franx and Xavi, creative directors of the brand, transform fashion into a visual language in their latest proposal for the spring season.
With a unique and minimalist vision, the new ACROMATYX captures the essence of the unfinished and the delicate, inviting you to explore the process of garment creation through a disruptive aesthetic that breaks with tradition.
In ‘006 – Modern Poetry’ they move away from conventions and take the idea of the reversible garment to the extreme. The interiors of the pieces – seams, cuts, trims and linings – emerge outwards, giving the impression that they are inside out. The use of raw cuts and fraying results in designs that seemingly appear incomplete, while the visible seams are not only functional but also part of the decorative design, transforming what would normally be hidden into an aesthetic statement.
True to its DNA, ACROMATYX plays with proportions: deconstructed and oversized silhouettes are combined with more fitted shapes, creating attractive visual contrasts that defy balance. The collection, like visual poetry, delves into the fragility and vulnerability of the human figure, externalising the most delicate and feminine aspects without fear of showing imperfection.
‘Seeing the inside of a garment is like seeing its soul. That’s why, in this collection, we reveal both the inside and the creation process: garments that look unfinished alongside those that are completely finished. From a futuristic perspective, we seek to externalise the most delicate and feminine aspects of the person, without fear of embracing fragility,’ say the creative directors.
