lululemon has announced that Lewis Hamilton, seven-time Formula 1™ World Champion, is joining the brand as its new brand ambassador. The brand will provide the British driver with high-performance products for his training, recovery and daily routine, as well as collaborating on design innovations and global impact projects.

‘Lululemon products are of incredible quality, great design and, most importantly, deliver the performance I need,’ said Hamilton. ‘I’m excited to partner with a brand that takes a holistic approach to wellness. Together we want to inspire our communities to be their best selves’.

Lewis is known for his unprecedented track record, with the most Grand Prix wins, podiums and pole positions, as well as a record-equalling seven world titles. In addition to his racing talents, Lewis has established himself as a style icon, renowned for his bold fashion choices and his impact on the design world. Off the track, he works tirelessly to champion a range of causes, from promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in motorsport and beyond, to fighting for social justice globally.

As an ambassador, Lewis will work closely with lululemon’s Research and Innovation, Design and Development teams to provide insight and feedback on future collections. In addition, lululemon’s Centre for Social Impact will work in partnership with Mission 44, Lewis’ global foundation, to integrate movement and mental wellness experiences into its initiatives aimed at creating a more just future for young people through education, employment and empowerment.

Lewis will be a featured figure in lululemon’s upcoming global campaign, ‘No Holding Back’, which showcases the daily dedication and effort it takes to be a champion in both physical and mental training. The campaign will feature the latest in men’s sportswear, including the brand’s iconic Metal Vent Tech line.

With this announcement, Lewis joins a growing list of lululemon ambassadors that includes PGA golfers Min Woo Lee and Max Homa; ATP tennis player Frances Tiafoe and WTA player Leylah Fernandez; NFL player DK Metcalf; NBA player Jordan Clarkson; and NHL player Connor Bedard.
