Don Julio 194구 (pronounced ‘Gou’) is a limited edition that celebrates the exceptional taste of one of the world’s most prestigious tequilas and reinforces its link to music, nightlife and urban culture.

From this strong union comes a special reinterpretation of the classic Don Julio 1942 bottle, a piece of art conceived by Peggy Gou. With a design that fuses high fashion with avant-garde street style, the bottle becomes a collector’s item.
Mint green and deep purple, combined with a holographic label reflecting the personal branding of the acclaimed South Korean DJ, bring a modern and sophisticated feel to the launch. The details are accentuated by a luxurious chrome cap that perfectly complements the sensory experience of the tequila, with its notes of caramel and oak and a lingering sweetness that defines its almost indescribable smoothness.
Each box includes a hand-drawn illustration by Peggy Gou, as well as a personal message expressing her passion and enthusiasm for this unique collaboration that elevates the link between art, luxury and music.
‘When it comes to design, balance is very important,’ says the artist, ‘Sometimes less is more. Sometimes more is more. I wanted to create a bottle that stops you in your tracks from the first moment you see it. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Tequila Don Julio 1942, because this collaboration offers fans a taste of superior tequila and my personal aesthetic, all in stunning packaging that I was lucky enough to design.’
The finale comes with a short film directed by filmmaker Nabil Elderkin, who captures the essence of Don Julio 194구 through a futuristic and stylised narrative.
The limited edition bottle will be available at selected retailers from 3 April in countries such as the US, UK, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Japan and Mexico.
