The nostalgic-futuristic vision of Self-Portrait materializes once again, and once again, Jisoo is its muse. For Pre-Fall 2025, Han Chong once again chooses the Korean singer and actress as the face of his imagery, reaffirming a creative connection that goes far beyond aesthetics.
Photographed in Seoul by Drew Vickers, the campaign titled “Past Life Dreams” is constructed through AI-generated scenarios that blur the lines between the tangible and the dreamlike. The result? A visual journey between the 1960s and a future that doesn’t yet exist, where Jisoo becomes the protagonist of a narrative that fluctuates between digital déjà vu and stylized fantasy.
“Despite all she’s achieved, Jisoo retains an aura of mystery,” explains Han Chong. “That makes her the perfect face for a brand like ours. Every collaboration with her feels like an ongoing conversation, like a thread we keep weaving.”
And that conversation evolves. The South Korean artist is clear: “Working with Han is always inspiring. I feel free to be myself and, at the same time, to explore new facets of my style. This campaign, especially, was a creative experiment with a truly unique result.”
The looks embody that duality. Jisoo traverses alter-real landscapes with pieces that combine the classic with a contemporary edge: a nylon jacket over a gingham bandeau and houndstooth miniskirt, signature lace reinterpreted in a utilitarian way, beaded denim in cream tones, and impeccable white dresses that float between the angelic and the structured. She accessorizes with a rattan basket bag, a piece that seems straight out of an impossible summer.
Drew Vickers, with his renowned AI-powered visual language, doesn’t just take photos: he builds worlds. “AI doesn’t replace reality; it amplifies it,” Chong says. “We wanted Jisoo to inhabit these parallel universes as if they were memories of a life we didn’t live, but still felt.”
