Nómadas Festival completes its line-up with Peggy Gou, RÜFÜS DU SOL and more surprises

The historic city of Braga, known as the “Portuguese Rome”, located one hour away from Vigo and Porto, will host one more year Nómadas Festival, which sold out 10 days before its celebration and received more than 5,000 attendees from 25 different nationalities in its last edition, proposing a new cultural and sensory journey through electronic music.

The 2025 line-up is headlined by some of the scene’s most influential figures: Peggy Gou and RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ Set), each leading one of the three main days of the festival.

On Friday, June 6, Peggy Gou will open the weekend. A global icon of electronic music and founder of the Gudu label and her own fashion label, Gou fuses underground culture with infectious beats. Her worldwide hit “(It Goes Like) Nanana” accumulates millions of plays and has cemented her status as one of the scene’s most influential artists. She will be joined by Mimi x Fy, a dynamic duo connecting the electronic styles of Belgrade and Mykonos; Rivo, whose remix of Disclosure’s “You & Me” achieved international recognition; and Mole & Jean Philippe, creators of the acclaimed MAJA parties, held in cities around the world.

On Saturday, June 7, it will be the turn of up-and-coming deep and melodic house artist Marten Lou, with releases under OVO, Warner and Atlantic, as well as Portuguese talents MiguelRendeiro and PauloPG.

The festival will close in style on Sunday, June 8 with a DJ set by Australian group RÜFÜS DU SOL, known for their hypnotic rhythms and immersive soundscapes, with performances that transcend the boundaries between electronic and live music. Also performing that same day will be Jean Claude Ades, an essential figure in electronic music for more than two decades and current curator of the Scorpios Mykonos experience. Completing the lineup on Sunday will be Gusta-vo and festival co-founder and DJTiago Cruz.

This year, the festival, located in a former quarry with spectacular views of Braga, will be extended by one more day and will increase its area by 40%, with improved infrastructure and renovated common areas, including restrooms, bars and a completely redesigned food court.

In the words of organizer Tiago Cruz, “the festival is consolidating itself as a key player in positioning Braga as a reference destination for major international cultural events. We have attracted renowned artists and a diverse global audience that not only energizes the local economy, but also puts Braga on the map of contemporary culture.”

Nómadas Festival invites its attendees to connect with nature and each other in a space of artistic freedom. From Afro-house to melodic techno, each rhythm is designed to transport the audience on an unforgettable journey.

Tickets are now available at 3cket.com, with day passes ranging from €30 to €125, and weekend passes from €100 to €250.
