Cannes Film Festival 2025: The best looks so far

The 78th Cannes Film Festival has arrived, and while the French coast sparkles with its film screenings, we all know what the real show is: the red carpet. This year, the festival was tinged with controversy. Just 24 hours after its start, the organizers dropped a bombshell: extremely sheer looks were banned, excessively voluminous dresses were banned, and—yes, you read that right—celebrities were urged to avoid any “token nudity.”

Bella Hadid marked her triumphant return with a sculptural white Jacquemus look and a sensual black Saint Laurent, also debuting a blonde bob. Heidi Klum openly defied the new dress code in an Elie Saab dress with an infinity train. Timothée Chalamet dazzled at Haider Ackermann in a maroon silk jumpsuit with an open back. Naomi Campbell wore a black sequined Valentino. And Troye Sivan broke the mold with a genderless Margiela Artisanal.
