Desire, art and vindication in Diesel’s fourth pride capsule

In collaboration with the Tom of Finland Foundation.

Homoerotic art, queer history and uncensored desire go hand in hand in Diesel‘s latest proposal that seeks to celebrate Pride 2025. A kind of textile manifesto that vibrates with sexual freedom, radical individualism and an aesthetic that celebrates the legacy of the master of 20th century drawing. Sailors, policemen, workers with biceps of steel and leather in abundance are printed on T-shirts, sweatshirts and underwear. Tom’s imagery is given new life in pieces designed for all genders, without binaries or concessions.

But the collection goes beyond the graphic archive. Diesel has also dug into the Tom of Finland Foundation‘s intimate album, rescuing photographs of parties and events held between 1990 and 2005 – the golden years of the queer resistance prior to the hyper-commercialisation of Pride.

And as if all this were not enough, Bruce LaBruce -filmmaker and icon photographer of the gay underground- has been commissioned to capture the campaign. Far from clichés, his portraits are set in domestic settings.
